Utah at Minnesota

One team has been doing some winning lately, the other has been doing a lot more losing. It’s the visitor that arrives having chalked up a sparkling recent record, going 5-1 in their last six, including wins over Colorado (on the road) and Vancouver. The one defeat in that stretch was vs. today’s opponent, the Wild, a 5-4 overtime loss on home ice. In that game, Minnesota tilted the ice on Utah most of the game, outshooting and outchancing them.

Minnesota has dropped their last two home games, on their way to a 1-4 record in their last five starts. However, they haven’t been as bad as that record indicates. This is a good lineup, one that matches up well vs. Utah, from their top lines all the way down to the fourth line, we like the edges for Minnesota. Being the home team they get last change, so can get the matchups they want. A nice extra advantage.

This is a good spot to break the short losing streak on home ice. We’ll play the Wild to win in regulation, giving us a very healthy plus money number.

Play: We’re on the Wild to win in regulation at +129
