NFL Pick – Bengals vs. Steelers

NFL picks, NFL odds
Tee Higgins and the Bengals need to keep rolling.

The Bengals, Broncos, and Dolphins are on life support for that final Wild Card post season appearance.

With the Bengals playing on Saturday their “miracle” would be a win at Pittsburgh and then wait and watch on Sunday, hoping for losses by Miami and Denver. Now the bad news. Kansas City is resting numerous starters, a wise move by head coach Andy Reid. Do you think the Chiefs or any other AFC team would like to face the Bengals if they make the post season? Especially with the way Joe Burrow has been playing, as he’s extended his NFL record with 250+ pass yards and three touchdowns in eight consecutive games.

In the Bengals first meeting with Pittsburgh, it was a high scoring shootout that the Steelers won, 44-38. If the weatherman cooperates this could be another shootout, plus Cincinnati is 7-2 to the OVER in their last nine games. In last week’s overtime win vs. Denver, Cincy’s running back Chase Brown was knocked out with a sprained ankle. Right tackle Amarius Mims was also sidelined with a hand injury and left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. broke his leg. That all should add up to more passing attempts for Joe Burrow, plus the Bengals only ran the ball 15 times in their first meeting vs. Pittsburgh.

The Bengals defense is a definite weak spot, so it will be up to their offense to outscore the Steelers to get a win. Borrow is certainly capable of doing that and if Watt sits in this game, that will be a plus and give Burrow more time to throw to his talented receiving corps, featuring Chase, Higgins and Gesicki.

So with that, I’m playing the Bengals at -125 on the money line on Saturday for a Week 18 play.

Play: I’m on the Bengals on the moneyline

I might have a play on the Bengals/Steelers total as well, which I’ll post Saturday morning.

Good luck this weekend everyone. Looking forward to the NFL playoff’s kicking off next week.
