NFL Week 2 Plays

Houston Texans

We kicked off the NFL season with a 2-2 ATS mark last weekend. The Winner’s Edge team held up their part of the deal, going 1-0 on their Best Bet for a winning start to the year. The WE team is coming in with a 32-13-2 ATS record on their NFL Best Bets posted in the Winner’s Edge magazine last season.

Nick also started the season with a 1-0 ATS mark. Nick is coming off a record last year in the Winner’s Edge magazine of 34-18-1 ATS with his NFL/NCAA picks.

Jason arrived last week and stumbled his way to an 0-2 ATS mark. Ouch. Jason posted a record of 38-24-1 ATS with his Winner’s Edge football plays last season.

On to the Week 2 plays. We have three of them.

Jason’s Play (tread carefully – kidding…sort of)
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs
I might be the only one left on the Chiefs bandwagon, but as a home dog, I’ll back Kansas City this afternoon.
Jason’s Play: Kansas City +1.5.

Nick’s Play
Atlanta Falcons vs. Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings pulled off that seemingly improbable comeback win last weekend, as JJ McCarthy put a couple of drives together after looking absolutely awful for three quarters. The Falcons had every opportunity to win their game over the Bucs, and should have, letting that one slip away, with no one to blame but themselves. I think they clean it up this week and give the Vikings all they can handle.
Nick’s Play: The Atlanta Falcons +3.

Winner’s Edge Play
Monday Nighter – Tampa Bay Bucs vs. Houston Texans
The Bucs looked okay last week, nothing special, but they did get a big win to start the year over division rival Atlanta. The Texans did not impress at all in their Week 1 loss. This Houston team should be better this week at home, facing a Buc team that’s a small stepdown in competition from last week. We like the home side, laying less than a TD.
WE Play: The Houston Texans -2.5

Good luck with all your plays this week.
